Pink is Really More Than Just a Color, She’s Legendary

The way she was packaged physically is something that puts her on top of the pack. With her edgy over all aura, the always changing hair color, the absurdly beautiful hair styles, the attention-getting pierces, the art that adorn her milky skin and the rough and deep voice — all of these reminiscent of Pink.

With a name that’s undeniably unforgettable, she have created a world of her own by where she is the superstar, and all of those who have alienated it will be either exterminated by her cranky lyrics or be magnetized to follow her sound forever.

We have known Pink to be the go-getter, show-stopper kind of gal who has dominated the airwaves since the moment she started to float on the general music scene. With her unstoppable rise to fame, Pink is one of the leading contributors on as to why pop music never faded to exist and be patronized by a plethora of music addicts.

Born Alecia Beth Moore in the glorious year of 1979, the 35-year old American singer, songwriter and actress is known for her songs like Just Like A Pill and Don’t Let Me Get Me. Started out as one of the trio of the all-female group Choice, Pink’s musical background have started at an early age of 14.

Pink sailed the currents of mainstream music with her debut album Can’t Take Me Home in 2000 which received mixed reviews and reception despite its double-platinum success. At the same year, she was recognized as Female New Artist of the Year by Billboard.

Pink’s first hit to peak at number 1 spots on various chart lists is a well-celebrated collaboration with singers Mya, Christina Aguilera and Lil Kim for Lady Marmalade as Moulin Rouge’s main soundtrack.
Stretching her vocal abilities in tune with the then-famous singers on this song, Pink had been applauded for her boyish attack of the song and earned her first Grammy’s for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.

Pink continued her impalpable success by supporting it with follow-up albums Can’t Take Me Home and Missundaztood. Both of the album’s lead singles had gone straight at the top echelons of the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Songs like Don’t Let Me Get Me and Family Portrait had brought Pink’s name on the whole planet’s household and she kept on harnessing platinum awards on the aforementioned albums.

Nominations on huge music award-giving bodies had recognized Pink’s singing abilities such as the MTV Video Awards, Grammy’s for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal. At the end of 2002, Pink was named as Top Female Artist in Billboard 200.

Try This and I’m Not Dead were released in 2003 and 2006 respectively. Funhouse and The Truth About Love were then on the stands on 2008 and 2012. Pink won two more Grammy’s for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for her song Trouble, Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for Imagine in 2011.

MTV Awards recognized Pink a couple of times but the most known is her win for Best Video for So What.

Pink is still married with professional motocross racer Carey Hart even after their on and off situation for the longest time since their marriage in 2006. Pink and Hart are now proud parents of Willow Sage.
