madonna

Being the Queen of Pop may have been an arduous role to keep especially now that people’s perception of music and artists is conformed to social media, technological trends and ceaseless attempts in creating something new.

Madonna just released her new single entitled B*tch I’m Madonna from her Rebel Heart album and the crazed fans and haters alike had gawked on as to what the Grammy-winning artist can offer.

Due to the fact that Madonna have been in the music industry since time immemorial, many followers have never waned their support to the music diva and is always vigilant ensuring that Madonna gets what she deserves.

Madonna will never have this strong staying power and a humongous hordes of followers if not for her attempts in venturing onto other musical approaches and forms in retrospect to the needs of her targeted market. An adept musical chameleon, we can all nod in agreement that Madonna is here to stay for as long as she wanted to.

With the numerous names she have invited to be a part of her new music video including Beyonce, Kanye West, Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus, Madonna is setting her career on fire again.

But beyond all the Madonna that we’re seeing right now, it just makes perfect sense to have put up a list of her former hits and identify how Madonna can be dubbed as the best female singer of all time.
We won’t ever forget how Madonna instantly become Evita Peron on the Hollywood movie Evita and her smash hit Don’t Cry for Me Argentina which peaked at Number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1997.

The theatrical take on this Madonna song is sure to be different from her always up-tempo songs and her voice is just impeccable while she serenaded us on a music video set on a political stage.
Another movie soundtrack not meant to be a famous hit is Die Another Day which was recorded and released in 2002 for the James Bond movie of the same title. It also peaked at the 8th sport for a couple of weeks and this song had been one of the most memorable ‘modernized’ Madonna moments that we have ever witnessed. Who’s That Girl, the movie soundtrack of the film she also starred in peaked at the top spot in 1987.

Almost two decades ago, Madonna had dominated the Billboard Hot 100 with a 17-song string of Number 1 hits from 1984 to 1989. The first song to have ignited the streak is Borderline, a catchy, head-bobbing song of a girl who’ve had enough of his dysfunctional partner.

The luck had been pushed to the borderline and Madonna’s fame had gone rockets when she belted and danced this slightly up-tempo track. La Isla Bonita on the other hand displayed a lavish Spanish taste which made it reach the 4th spot in 1987. In 1995, Madonna had taken the reroute to get La Isla Bonita’s music video inspiration to her track Take A Bow.

With impressive seven-week dominance in the charts, Madonna had proved to be the best on her craft as she belted this heart-melting piece of song which is brimming with emotions of betrayal and broken relationships. The night is surely not over when this song is released and this had been unanimously paired with This Used to Be My Playground as the top tracks sang on her tours during that time.

Being Madonna’s top three signature songs, Like A Virgin, Vogue and Crazy For You pretty much sums up Madonna’s emanating talent in singing almost all known genres by any female artist.
Peaking on the years 1984, 1990 and 1985 respectively, the aforementioned tracks had been indelible to human memory and are one of the few reasons on as to why Madonna is what she is right now.

Truly a star that never dimmed, Madonna is the very epitome of chasing your dreams and working for it. She won’t be dubbed as the Queen if not for her timeless talent and never-ending attempts to innovate and accept fresh ideas to further improve her already flawless talent.
