The gesture was touching and definitely endearing. “I wrote it when I was like 18 0r 19, but my friend just had a baby and she made me a godmother of it and I was holding this little baby the other night and I was just thinking differently. When you’re holding onto something that’s so innocent and so perfect and has no idea what’s coming for it with the world. The world is going to throw so many things at you as we grow up.” – The singer mentioned, while on stage in front of some 55, 000 fans in Santa Clara, California. While the song was part of her 2010 album, it was the first time Taylor sang it live, which made it even sweeter. The song is undeniably perfect and fit for the message Taylor has to send to her godson. 13 concerts in Europe for the farewell tour of Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath band rockers added 13 concert dates in Europe as part of their latest world tour.

Ozzy Osbourne and his cronies have recently announced that they would make a final world tour in 2016 as part of their tour The End, and indicated that they would give concerts in North America and Australasia.

They also added several dates in Europe, the concert series will begin in Budapest, Hungary, on June 1 and will end at Olympisky Moscow Arena July 12, 2016.

The group will also participate in Dessel Graspop Metal Meeting 2016 to be held in Belgium on June 17 (2016) and the Monsters of Rock festivals in Finland and Sweden.

The UK dates have yet been announced, but it is thought that the group will give its final concert in Birmingham, England, where it originates.

Black Sabbath ended his long career with The End tour, which stops at the Montreal Bell Centre February 23, 2016.

The British Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, which are at the origin of heavy metal, want to somehow move on after 50 years of music.

At the beginning of next year that the North American portion of the ultimate fired from Black Sabbath gets underway, specifically in Omaha, Nebraska. In Canada, Montreal addition, training will visit Saskatoon (January 28), Edmonton (January 30), Calgary (1 February), Vancouver (February 3rd) and Hamilton (21 February).

After making a successful return, the original lineup of Black Sabbath confirms production of a new album, reports Rolling Stone.

Bloc Party announces their UK Tour

Good news to all the fans of Bloc Party in United Kingdom because the band just announced their first ever UK gigs as a part of their European tour later this year.

The Bloc Party revealed their new look and line-up at their two shows in the United States during the last month of August, with their new drummer Louise Bartle and bassist Justin Harris, replacing the old member Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong.

Recently the band also confirmed that they also have finished recording their next and new album. The well-known band will hit the road in Europe on the months of November to December. Their UK show will start on December 3 and 4 of 2015.

The Bloc Party played two intimate shows last August 19 at the Glass House in Pomona and at the Roxy in Los Angeles last August 20, 2015.

The Pomona gig of The Bloc Party marked their first outing of their new members. The frontman, Kele Okereke shared that it was quite weird and emotional because it is their first ever performance together as a new “Bloc Party,” he also confirmed that they have finished the work for their next LP, that will be going to be the group’s fifth record.

Meet YouTube Red

YouTube launches Red, its paid ad-free formula, but with music.

That’s it, it’s official. Just under a year after the “confessions” of Susan Wojcicki about a pay formula and without advertising on YouTube, the streaming service has announced the launch of Red YouTube. Available as of October 28 in the US, but without the international calendar, the subscription will be charged $ 9.99 per month in exchange for several services: watching videos without advertising, the ability to save content for offline consultation on smartphone or tablet, reading in the background on these devices and access to Google Play Music, knowing that a subscription to Red YouTube or Google Play Music will now synonymous with automatic subscription to the other service. As we reported early last April, the subscription will also offer access to exclusive content. These will emerge early 2016 and currently are moving to the US target, as evidenced by the shortlist of the channels concerned.

Meanwhile, YouTube has announced the upcoming launch of a stamped YouTube Music Service, but without venturing too much into details. For presentation, we learn that “YouTube Music is designed to make the discovery, viewing and listening to music easier than ever. Any song or artist you choose will set you on YouTube Music from a personal journey through one of the richest musical catalogs register, click a song you love and see where the music takes you. “As YouTube Gaming, the new service will be entitled to a dedicated application. “We are working to launch Red YouTube and our YouTube Music applications, Gaming and Kids on more markets in the near future,” says the subsidiary of Google.

Due to our blatant support to pop and mainstream music, we sometimes tend to overlook some other genres that might also spark our interest given the chance that appropriate attention had been channeled.

And with this strong veneration to anything considered as ‘in’, we all have this somewhat incorrect notion that only those who are sheltered by the popular genre dominates the well-celebrated Grammy Awards.

You’d be surprised to know that it’s not Taylor Swift, Beyonce or even Mariah Carey to have snatched the most Grammy wins by a female singer despite the fact that they can be seen and heard at almost every corner.

Armed with her dreamy vocals, the sultry sound of her musical instruments such as fiddle, piano and mandolin all mixed up by her early exposure to music fame at the age of 13, bluegrass slash country singer Alison Krauss is currently the title holder of the number of Grammy Awards won by an astounding count of 27.

Born Alison Maria Krauss, this soulful talented singer first made her inglorious mark in the music industry when she triumphed to receive the Best Bluegrass Recording for her track I’ve Got That Old Feeling.

Alison Krauss’ rise to fame had been unstoppable ever since and her name had been established as one of the best country singers to have ever roamed the Earth.

During the entire course of her successful career, Kraus was able to release 16 studio albums, all of which have been positively praised by music critics for her ceaseless attempts to put something new on the plate while retaining the main essence of her focal genre.

Alison Krauss is also being associated and tagged with the musical group Union Station with whom she shared her successes with since their formation in 1989.

Krauss’ first album is a solo act with the title Different Strokes and her last was Paper Airplane, this time with Union Station in 2011.

Alison Krauss is tied up with conductor Sir Georg Solti with having the most number of Grammy wins and she even received a special achievement award by the same award giving body last 2005 for her humongous contributions and always sparkling talent.

Aside from her well-known victories on Grammy’s Krauss’ musical capabilities had also been recognized by different award factions such as the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards which earned her 14 merits, Country Music Association Awards besting 9 awards and is dubbed to be along Tim McGraw as the best country singers, Academy of Country Music Awards and the CMT Music Awards which have both heralded her 2 trophies.

Alison Krauss’ influences can be deduced by bagshot singers and bands with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, AC/DC, Carly Simon, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lou Gramm and Paul Rodgers.

The singer can be remembered well for her internationally-acclaimed tracks such as Baby Now That I Found You, Rich Woman, Killing the Blues, Simple Love, Please Read the Letter, And When I Die.

As of now, Alison and Union Station have been touring to special spots in the United States and there hadn’t been any news of the singer retiring anytime soon.

Rachel Platten’s Fight Song sent a clear message during 2015 Teen Choice Awards

The 2015 Teen Choice Awards has become more meaningful as Rachel Platten graced the show with her moving performance.

Put credits to both her touching track named Fight Song and undeniable stage presence, the crowd came to stand and clapping as they uttered the same lyrics being sung by the songstress up the stage.

The 34-year old singer made it clear – do not ever give up and continue fighting in the face of struggle. The empowering message the song conveys must’ve been derived from the struggles she had personally and professionally.

It was just recently that she focused into writing and penning her own words and turn it into her own music. After her 2011 release, the career of this belting songstress seemed to put into halt as she lost her manager and label after her first track 1,000 ships penetrated the airwaves.

It was not until she met her now manager Ben Singer of SMG Entertainment that she was able to give attention to her writing, something that was put into bat when she first started.

Seems like her time has come as the said song made an even louder noise after her latest live performance at the recently concluded Teen Choice Awards. The performance started with her sitting while playing the piano and humming the first lines of the song.

It didn’t end there though. The song’s essence was even stressed out when she stood latter part of her performance and gave flawless belting take on the song’s chorus. The production was concluded with teenagers coming up the stage holding boards with messages like “I fight for malaria’, ‘I fight for the future’ and others.

Fight Song was released this year and reached top 7 from the US Billboard Top 100 – the highest this track has ever reached so far. The song has also been used on several TV series like Pretty Little Liars and Revenge. The same track has also been used in the campaign of Ford.

In seven years, a former street performer may be the next big name in the industry, and the industry’s hottest names may have to step back from the limelight. The musical event and artistic “Visa For Music”

The second edition of the musical event and artistic “Visa For Music”, an international exhibition of music of Africa and the Middle East, will be held from November 11 to 14 in Rabat.

Visa for Music is the first market for African and Middle- Eastern Music. It is expected that in this year’s program, it will include more than 40 showcases, five conference panels, four film screenings and a professional exhibition.

The VFM’s jurors gathered on July 23 and 24 to choose the artist who will perform in Rabat on November 11 to 14.

On the menu for this event include the organization of a market, professional meetings, conferences, screenings of documentary films and over 40 showcases to highlight artists from Morocco, the rest of the continent, the Middle East and the diaspora.

Moroccan side, the event will include Jamal Nouman Sextet, the chanteuseOum, Mazagan & Hamid El Hadri group and rapper Dizzy Dros.

The Maghreb will also be celebrated by Nadia Khaless Trio training, which sails between Tunisia and Morocco, the fusion of trance Imed Alibi (Tunisia), Algerians Djmawi Africa, the Gabacho Maroconnection composed of Moroccan artists, Spanish and French , and Al-Mu’tamid, the king of the Al-Andalus offering a trip in a plural Andalusia (Portugal / Spain / Morocco).

As for the hybrid influences of Africa, these are artists as Moh! Kouyate (France / Guinea), Maya Kamaty (Reunion Island) and Alsarah & The Nubatones (Sudan), the Burkinabe rapper Smockey and jazz singer Jemimah Sanyu and unites 446 (Uganda) who will perform on the stage of Rabat.

The group of Jordanian indie rock Autostrad represents his side the Middle East, alongside Cairokee Egyptians, Palestinian rockers Band Elcontainer and training conducted by the Turkish saxophonist Ilhan Ersahin.

Afro-Caribbean Creole training with the group of the Colombian island of San Andreset training electro 7 Estrelo “Brazil will be also present.

Spice Girls to reunite for a tour

Yes, you heard it right the all time favorite girl group is said to reunite for a world tour after their last album together “Wannabe,” that was 20 years ago. Spice girls as we all know is one of the many great 90’s group that releases top ranking songs way back 1990’s.

The sad part of this news is that they will be lacking one member that is Victoria Beckham as Posh Spice because of her busy schedule, but nevertheless Spice girls will still be spice girls and fans will still enjoy the crowd knowing that they will be reunited after a very long time.
