Past being associated with a controversial marital situation with an equally famous front man of Nirvana, Courtney Love managed to get a spotlight for her own name that will definitely leave a mark throughout the history.
Many would remember Kurt Cobain with her name being brought up. Their marriage brought daughter Frances Bean Cobain to the world. In her early life, Courtney Love, or Courtney Michelle Harrison by birth had lived a somewhat carefree and easy-going life.
A college drop-out, Love managed to live places after places through a trust fund she obtained. She worked as stripper in Alaska, California and Japan and even lived in Liverpool, England. She first set foot to the industry as singer. While she started out being part of music groups in the early 1980’s, it not until her stint with her band Hole that she gained the interest of the wised masses.
Singles Dicknail and Retard Girl made the band popular and open doors to different tours and massive album sales for their debut album Pretty on the Inside. Allegedly though, Kurt Cobain entrance to her life put the band’s career at the backseat but eventually resumed as they signed contract to then Nirvana’s label Geffen. Their second studio album Live Through This gained positive reviews amidst the scandalous death of Cobain one week before its release.
Later on, the gap of transformation for Love as she put music into halt and focused on modelling gracing the covers of different fashion magazine and acting. Recent acting appearance includes her stint with series Sons of Anarchy and Empire. Her latest single Miss Narcissist was launched May this year. Another recent commitment includes being part of Lana del Rey’s Endless Summer Tour in which she would perform as an opening act.
