After being known after the hit single “Almost is Never Enough” with equally young prodigy, Ariana Grande, Nathan Sykes is slowly but surely cementing his road to stardom by his newest hit, Kiss Me Quick.
Nathan James Sykes, born in April 18, 1993, is an English singer and songwriter. He is best known for being a member of British boy band, currently on hiatus, The Wanted. In 2013, Sykes appeared in the E! Channel reality series The Wanted Life.
Stepping out of the shadows of The Wanted, the 21-year-old can more than hold his own on a stage, radiating the sureness and magnetism of a young Robbie Williams. Inclined towards a nonchalant, timeworn school feel, his is a radio-friendly tune which is currently being advocated by the likes of Meghan Trainor and Bruno Mars and vocally, Nathan is just incredible.
Kiss Me Quick is Sykes’ latest single which trended worldwide on Twitter as fans all over the world had been waiting for a follow-up song. Nathan Sykes himself posted a short clip of the song on his official Instagram account which amounted to tons of comments and shares all over the social media.
This 21-year old pop star had just reached a whopping 1.6 million Twitter followers and it is not too shocking to know that he’s being watched by fans from all over the planet.
Earlier this year Nathan gave fans a teaser of what’s to come from his new music by putting out a taster track called ‘More Than You’ll Ever Know’, ahead of the launch of his first album later this year. He also teased a potential collaboration with Grammy award winning star Sam Smith.
Sykes, who previously dated Ariana Grande, said he was keen to branch out on his own because “there is always the chance to surprise people as they are only now seeing 100% of me for the first time.”
With all the clamor and desperation that Nathan Sykes fans had been displaying online, singer-songwriter Sykes had mentioned that the new single is to be released on June 14th.
His debut album is set to follow later on this year with focus on teenage love affairs and yet keeping the usual cool and air of his chosen genre.
