After winning and being the first American Idol in 2002, she captured the world through her innate skills in singing and musicality. This album had sealed the singer songwriter’s fate of being on top of the music food chain after ranking 3rd at the Billboard 200 on its release in November 2004.
Clarkson had seen mature enough as a singer through this album by her involvement in the creation of this venture. A certified sextuple platinum because of its’ record-breaking sales and snatching a Grammy award for Best Female Pop Vocal Album, this kept Clarkson’s name a reverberating one all throughout the world.
Several albums more and Kelly Clarkson had been an important musician on the music scene in general. After the succeeding victories of her next albums after Breakaway, she had been a staple to almost all music lovers with notable songs like Never Again, Because of You, Stronger, and People like Us and so much more.
Her entire singing career also involved world tours for album promotions like the Breakaway World Tour and the All I Ever Wanted World Tour. She also had been visible through singing commitments like her participation at the Super Bowl XLVI last 2012.
Some of the numerous recognitions that Clarkson had been able to achieve as her career grow are wins for the most-coveted Grammy Awards for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Since U Been Gone and her second Best Pop Vocal Album streak for Stronger.
She also had been dominating the US Billboard 100 charts through the singles that she had internationally released such as her winning piece on American Idol, A Moment Like This. Some other accolades include MTV Awards’ Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Female Singer for People’s Choice Awards both won on the same year.
Kelly Clarkson also had been submerged not only on mainstream pop but on country music as well as she collaborated with singer Reba Macintire for making a duet of her song Because Of You which earned her a nomination for a Grammy award.
Currently, Clarkson is keeping her minions waiting for her eighth studio album entitled Piece by Piece to be released in the early months of this year.
