Get Ready for the Summertime Ball Festival!

Summertime Ball

It seems that the months of summer are keeping all those music enthusiasts thoroughly occupied with the succession of festivals and events happening left and right. We are done to some of the major music festivals while on some we are just closing on in. However, this does not mean that music’s gonna stop blaring and the festivities on the verge of ending – no not at all! In fact, we are on yet another countdown as we wait for the Summertime Ball.

The Summertime Ball is a mini music festival managed by the Global Radio. This mini festival first set its shop at the Emirates Stadium held on the month of June at the year 2009. It was also like a charity event promoted by the Capital network, as they allot a portion of the profit from the sales of ticket as a donation to Capital network’s charity: Help a Capital Child also formerly known as Help a London Child. Since the first ball, there are a complete four sponsors including the Barclaycard in 2009, ASOS.com in 2010, Starbucks the following year, and Vodafone since 2012. The Summertime Ball offers a number of much-awaited performances from your favorite popular artists.

For the sixth time running, the Summertime Ball will set its foot again at the Wembley Stadium, which has been the festival’s home a year after the first event. It will be held at the 6th of June 2015 with various performances revealed since the month of April. First up on the line-up is the One Direction performing as the headliners for the show while the next seven performances was revealed last 29th of April by Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon.

The “Kiss Me Quick” singer Nathan Sykes will also perform making it his 6th appearance on the show and earning him the place of one of the most-awaited acts in the show. Unfortunately, Sam Smith will not make it for the second time since he had to pull out due to operation. However, it shouldn’t dampen the spirit of anyone as the 2015 Summertime Ball Stars lineup will certainly make up for it. Here’s the list: One Direction, Ariana Grande, Avicii, Kelly Clarkson, Rita Ora, Jess Glynne, Jason Derulo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Olly Murs, Pitbull, Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, Martin Garrix, Nathan Sykes, Little Mix, Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, LunchMoney Lewis, Rixton, Nick Jonas.
