Adele at 25: Finally?

Adele 25

Good times are rolling not only on Ella Eyre’s recently released track, “Good Times,” as we got hints about the “Rolling in the Deep” star on her follow-up album.

After too much delay, could 2015 be the lucky year where we will finally hear the most-awaited Adele’s third studio album?

Adele’s massively successful sophomore album, 21, receives worldwide recognition further strengthening her career despite of her recent fall out with her partner during that time.

Empowered by pain, the British singer pulled through the heartache with her album 21 reaping off awards after awards and breaking records after records earning her names in the Guinness World of Records. (Some celebs should take a note or two from her, eh?) Thus, fans across the globe are burning the album while waiting for two long years for the next – or so we thought.

The singer confirmed in an interview last 2012 that her next album will most likely be two years away, just like the distance in between her last two. However, delays after delays lead two years to three and three to four with still “on-the-way” or practically nonexistent album. Yet after a little of four years out of the limelight with a few appearances here and there, Adele’s name is buzzing again on the internet.

Rumors circulated online in which the star was supposed to echo Beyoncé and release the album as a surprise. However, that plan was scrapped, as Adele head back to the studio and rewrote some materials, as sources said she was worried it would not be at par as her last album 21. We wouldn’t blame her, if the third album cannot outdo 21, it should at least not get overshadowed.

Other added information on the album says it should be over later this year, so we still have a few months to go before we get to finally hear from Adele. One thing is confirmed though, the title of the album is 25 like how she named the previous two according to her age.

Big names are also attached to the coming album with the likes of Ryan Tedder, Damon Albarn, Phil Collins, James Ford, Paul Epworth and not yet confirmed (but we-wish-to-be) Pharrell Williams is lending a hand to Adele. No producer yet on the album, but speculations has the name Emile Haynie on it.

As like most of the artists this year, Adele explored a different genre with the upcoming album having a touch of country in it. Thinking about it, it is not a big step for the singer with her previous tracks. Yet, whatever she decides on, the excitement isn’t subsiding.
