Apple-Beats

June 8 – Here comes the big announcement finally. Apple and Beats brainchild that will challenge music streaming giants like Spotify, Tidal and Pandora. It is remembered that Apple has bought Beats for $3 billion last year and since then, the project about penetrating the streaming trade has been on the works. Declared to be available on June 30th, this pay per subscription app is much anticipated due to the fact that the project is being brought together by the union of two stand alone brands known for setting foot creative, out of the box innovation.

Apple Music, as what the streaming site is called has created buzz, speculations and rumors for several weeks before the formal notification has been unveiled by Apple execs in WWDC 2015 at San Francisco. Called to be an all in one platform, Apple Music is a streaming site plus radio station combined into one.

The radio station named Beats will be heard live primarily in New York, Los Angeles and London and is going to be emceed by ex BBC Radio 1 presenter Zane Lowe and other DJs like Julie Adenuga, Ebro Darden together with some music entertainment sign ups like Drake and Trent Reznor.

Another unique feature of this new work from Apple is the ability of users to connect with the artists through other social sites like of Facebook and Twitter to get instant access on videos and behind the scene footages of their favorite musicians – whoa! Oh dear, Apple must’ve stepped up the game.

Will this be something stellar? Let us see.

Like of other streaming pioneers, Apple Music would ask music fans to shell out in order to get the taste of unlimited listening. It is said that the subscription will be $9.99 a month but of with three months free trial for first time users.
