Anthony Hamilton’s Well-Established Journey Meant to be Enjoyed

Anthony Hamilton (4)

Aside from the album sales, Twitter citations and hundreds of concerts, an artist can be regarded as impressive when he or she reaps a multitude of awards from coveted award-giving firms. An artist does not need to be known through the widest scale for trophies, citations and nominations in his or her wake to establish the talent emanating from within.

Yes, it will be an added bonus if the majority adored a certain star, but for those who believe that fame is nothing but a temporary gift, it’s best recognized by those who really know the industry inside and out. If you haven’t heard of the name Anthony Hamilton or dismissed him as someone common like John Smith, then prepare your ears to be entertained by this very talented artist.

Born Anthony Cornelius Hamilton and aged 45, he has been around the mainstream without us completely noticing him. Despite the strong music association that he had gained from growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hamilton kept it on the low and worked his way up the ladder of fame as quietly as he could.

Focusing on genres such as R&B, soul and hip-hop, he is notoriously known for his ability to craft songs and as a respected record producer. In the early age of 10, Hamilton found his calling to perform inside their church and became an actively prolific choir member.

During his time as a young adult, Anthony Hamilton joined Uptown Records for his first douse of what it’s really like to be in the industry. In 1992, he successfully traversed the demanding waves of music production and was able to co-write Donnell Jones’ ‘U Know What’s Up’. With a little bit of exposure here and there, Hamilton then ventured into enriching his love for singing and later on proceeded with releasing tens of studio albums.

His first official studio album was released in 1996 entitled XTC, generating favorable reviews from music analysts due to his admirable freshness in style and immense potential in vocal calisthenics. Since then, eight more albums were produced by Anthony Hamilton, with the last one released in March 2016 entitled ‘What I’m Feelin’.

Anthony Hamilton's first Christmas album is called Home for the Holidays.
