Popularly known as Elena Jane “Ellie” Goulding was born December 30, 1986, is an English singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Lyonshall, Herefordshire.
She was originally introduced to the general audience when she was shortlisted for the BBC’s ‘Sound of 2010′ poll, which she ultimately reached the top spot.
She was the second of four children from Arthur and Tracey Goulding who were detached when she was only five. Tracey would afterwards get married again to a pickup driver.
Ellie started writing music and studying how to play guitar at the age of 14. She was also elaborated in her school’s play, preceding her to get drama course, politics course and English course at the University of Kent.
Her course started when she encountered record producer Starsmith and Frankmusik, and she was later seen by Jamie Lillywhite, who shortly evolve into her boss and manager and A&R.
