Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” Wouldn’t Creep Listeners Out

Ella Henderson

In today’s music generation, listeners are so keen to hear songs and creation which are just out of this world. Something unusual some might say. Musicians are also accepting the challenge and doing their best to think out of the box in terms of song creations, well unless of course if it’s Taylor Swift.

Nevertheless, may it be Taylor Swift or someone new to the music industry, it’s really a win-win situation if they could produce a song which could turn everybody’s attention. And that’s what the ex- X factor contestant just did.

Gabriella Michelle Ella Henderson or just simply Ella Henderson was first seen as a contestant of the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012, in which she finished sixth despite of her considered as a primary contender.

Then on that they on, she start her walk onto her fate in the music industry. She signed for Simon Cowell’s Syco Music and a record deal with Sony Music. Last year 2014, she released her first single, and a really eerie one, “Ghost” which was the lead single for her debut album Chapter One.

It was released on the 6th of June. Before that, she teased all the listeners around the globe and online by living ghost trails and creepy hints, including a three minute remix of her upcoming first single back then. It served as a promotion and her way to campaign her first single and album.

She wrote the song alongside songwriter’s Ryan Tedder by One Republic and Noel Zancanella. Tedder’s magic works again as he surprised the new comer with his 20 minute creation of the “Ghost” chorus.

It’s was a worthy start for Ella, some may compare her voice to Adele and the pop-like beat with Leona Lewis. The song was an immediate success as it topped the UK Singles Chart and so as in Ireland. That’s the break she’s been waiting for, Ella Henderson is ready to bounce back to success with her creepy yet relaxed “Ghost”.
