Learn to Love Rachel Platten A Little More

rachel platten

Mainstream music is really difficult for some to penetrate. One must be equipped with unique vocal capabilities, unique physical appearance and impressive speaking skills. It is not a surprise that there have been a lot of singers who were laid-off despite their music ingenuity. One good example of an artist who deserves all the attention is a girl named Rachel Platten.

She has a knack that is worthy of a second look, passion that speaks more of her desire to achieve what she wants and talent to boot. Nevertheless, Platten is now slowly fading after a short exposure this year, and with an artist this promising, she’s definitely someone deserving of a success story.

We can all remember Rachel Ashley Platten with her hit song ‘Fight Song’, which has received fairly positive reviews. Born and raised as a full-pledged American, Ashley started her music venture in her hometown. It is quite a feat that Platten was able to gain worldwide attention with the aforementioned track, reaching countries like Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Slovakia and the whole United Kingdom.

Rachel Platten can also play the guitar and piano, which makes her quite talented. After her minimal experience with music during her college days, Rachel Platten moved to the concrete jungle of New York and had gigs with a band called Dayz of Wild. From here, she fulfilled her dream slowly by being on tour in different parts of the United States and even strengthened her music connections by taking part in Ryan Seacrest’s foundation against poverty as an ambassador.

Currently, Rachel Platten released two studio albums entitled Trust Me (2003) and Be Here (2011). With all of the tracks included on both albums, it is with ‘Fight Song’ that she was able to find her inner voice. It smoothly careened through charts and was graded double Platinum by both RIAA and ARIA and a Gold merit was given by RMNZ. Some of the other singles that definitely need your attention include the playful ‘Stand by You’ and the dreamy ‘1,000 Ships’.

Expanding her musical exposure, Rachel Platten is known to be with soulful singers Colbie Caillat and Christiana Perri on their worldwide music tour called The Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too.

We can also like Rachel Platten more via her recent nominations at the Teen Choice Awards as Choice Music: Breakout Artist and Choice Summer Song for Fight Song.
