“Body On Me” Rita Ora ft. Chris Brown – Of sultry, powerful mid-tempo jam

Body On Me

You need to hear “Body On Me” by Rita Ora featuring Chris Brown. A sultry and powerful mid-tempo jam that will stop you on the first line and will get you hooked even before the track turns to the chorus.

When Rita Ora announced her collaboration with Chris Brown last July, fans from both sides are pretty giddy and the same could be said with Rita Ora herself. The British blonde singer proclaims herself as a fan of Chris Brown and his music and says the two of them are quite excited in working together in this track with Rita Ora even stating, “… I was like no one can sound better on this record how I’m envisioning it than Chris,” on Hot 97’s Nassau according to Music Times.

And for the record, it does sound perfect. When Rita Ora graced us “Poison” after doing only featured acts for a couple of times, we believe the single is a great comeback as the main act. Yet, this follow up is even better. Sexy and a complete hook, “Body On Me” proves Rita Ora has still something up in her sleeves to make her music worth the time and – of course – money.

“Body On Me” is her second single released lifted from her upcoming, yet-to-be-named second album. For someone who’s not yet on the level of having her name marked and established in the industry, despite debuting ahead of the “now hottest names,” this single could help Rita Ora find a steady footing in her career and for Chris Brown to ignite again the flames of the doused torch of his career due to controversies.

The title itself already suggests a sexy theme and the lyrics further emphasized the point. However, this song despite its theme does not sound anything sleazy and is very radio-friendly. It just makes you feel sexy through Rita Ora’s powerful vocals that seems to command the floor – or the bedroom – that blends and glides perfectly well without so much of an effort with Chris Brown’s. It is a mid-tempo jam that has a lip-biting charm. It will demand to be heard, to look past upon its singers’ past negative image, and will let you focus on their talent instead.
