Hear More of One Tree Hill’s Jana Kramer

Jana Kraner

The fusion of television and music is quite inevitable nowadays. We have known some artists who submerged themselves into singing, or even regard music as their first love. It is not a difficult task for some television personalities to jump into the musical bandwagon, as both require proficient skill to perform and entertain. Both fields have the same ideals, motives and goals.

Recently, One Tree Hill artist Jana Rae Kramer took the music industry by storm when she entered the US Billboard Hot 100 as one of the most sought-after singers for 2015’s last quarter. Kramer graced television shows and Hollywood movies such as Click, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, 90210, Entourage, Blue Demon and The Poker Club. With all her might, she also managed to put two studio albums on the music stands, and it is never an issue for these records to have an impressive following due to her huge fan-base from being on TV.

Born on December 2, 1983, the 31-year old artist focused her singing capabilities on country music, showing huge potential to follow the footsteps of Shania Twain and Faith Hill. It was in 2012 when she fully exposed her passion to sing, and it is with the eponymous label Elektra Records that she started out her humble journey to becoming a respected country diva.

We can all remember Jana Kramer’s album used in One Tree Hill through the track ‘I Won’t Give Up’, igniting her hope of becoming a recording artist. It was also in that year when her current music handler got her to sign a contract, expanding her following. Her next single even cemented her dodgy start as ‘Holding out a Hero’ was a huge hit when it was released on music streaming sites like iTunes and Amazon.

Jane Kramer’s music venture branched out and even got the 75th spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. Later on, this feisty country singer decided to put her music career on the right track when her self-titled debut album was made public and generated a favorable response, putting it on numerous charts.

The smash hit ‘Why Ya Wanna’ is the best track associated with Jane Kramer as it was also deemed as the most famous to date. Released last February 2012, this song frequently put Kramer’s name on the Billboard charts, as it peaked at 52nd place. It also paraded as 3rd on the Hot Country Songs Chart.

With all the good accolades that Kramer received, she even became a hot topic as an actress with projects left and right. Currently, Kramer delegated two studio albums with the latest entitled ‘Thirty One’, denoting her age. Released this October 9th, the second studio album immediately found itself on the Top 10 list with running sales of 18,000 US Dollars.

Her first album managed to hit a whopping 188,000 US Dollars in sales and the second album is a promise in the making. ‘Why Ya Wanna’ received Platinum status and her track ‘I Got the Boy’ was well-received with 298,000 copies sold just in the United States. With her career blossoming, Jana Kramer’s innate singing talent mixed with her acting ability made it fruitful for her after she won the ACM Awards’ Top New Female Artist last 2013.
