Embodying the Soul of Country Music with Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean

One of the main reasons why country music is flourishing is through the passion exuded by its singers. We have all seen some famous country genre icons the likes of Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Scotty McCreery and Alison Krauss, but the new league of people who ventured onto the same genre seems to be overflowing with even more enthusiasm.

Country music is said to be one of the few genres that touches the heart and pleases the ear, and yes, this has been proven after so many years. One thing observable with this kind of music is its reception to any type of singer, so long as passion and talent work hand-in-hand. Despite his age, country singer Jason Aldine Williams, more popularly known as Jason Aldean, still receives the rightful attention his talent and vocal skills deserve because in country music, it’s real talent that counts.

Solely handled by the huge music outfit Broken Bow, Jason Aldean found his home in this company and traversed the slopes of fame as smoothly as he can. The now 38-year old singer began his music career in 2005 with his self-titled debut album and the roll of fame and fortune became his friend ever since. Focusing on country and the rather distinct country rock, Jason Aldean’s voice is a staple on the radio airwaves together with his skilled hands playing the guitar. Truthfully a multi-talented artist, it was never difficult to sustain his fame despite the advent of country singers bridging into pop and mainstream.

As of today, Jason Aldean managed to craft six wonderful studio albums with Old Boots, New Dirt released last year. Aldean has been prolific in roaming the whole country via studio tours and singing campaigns. With all the innumerable exposures gathered in his rather short career, some of the most notable tours that Jason Aldean have been to are the Wide Open Tour (2010) with Uncle Cracker, Night Train Tour (2013) with American Idol first grand winner Kelly Clarkson, Burn It Down Tour (2013-15) with the infamous Florid Georgia Line and the much-awaited We Were Here Tour (2016) with an equally valuable country artist Thomas Rhett.

Throughout the course of his career, Aldean was able to hit music bars with six albums namely Jason Aldean (2005), Relentless (2007), Wide Open (2009), My Kinda Party (2010), Night Train (2012) and Old Boots, New Dirt (2014). Some of the songs that are associated with Jason Aldean are the number 1 tracks that have penetrated every known music chart, such as She’s Country, Big Green Tractor, Dirt Road Anthem, Burnin’ It Down, When She Says Baby, Tonight Looks Good On You and Take a Little Ride.

It has also been said that most of Aldean’s albums were awarded multi-platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), like the success reached by Relentless and My Kinda Party, with triple and double-platinum respectively. In total, music charts have attested that on all of Jason Aldean’s released tracks, 24 singles have victoriously made it to the Top 10, fourteen of which ended as Number 1.

With an artist as passionate as Aldean, it is not surprising that he was able to bag some coveted awards such as the American Music Awards’ Breakthrough Artist in 2011, the American Country Awards’ Artist of the Year, CMA Awards’ Musical Event of the Year for Don’t You Wanna Stay with Kelly Clarkson, nomination for Best Country Album from the Grammy’s for Night Train and the most recent is his win from the Billboard Music Awards for Burnin’ It Down as the Top Country Song of 2015.
