Janet Damita Jo Jackson is the youngest of nine children born to Joe Jackson and wife Katherine. She was born on May 16, 1966 in Gary, Indiana. About two years after her birth, her brothers signed a contract with Motown records and formed the band called “The Jackson 5”. The American recording artist and actress announced that the new album (still untitled) will be released in autumn of this year. This will be her first tour concert again after almost four years. The first tour will start on the 31st of August in Vancouver, Canada ending up in Honolulu, Hawaii in November.
